Note Card Party for September

For this months Note Card Party I chose
some of the farm animals I see on my morning walks.
A couple of friendly horses.
Number 29 came down to the fence to say good morning to me.
Mr Rooster strutting in all his pretty colors.
Cows on a tiny little hill.
I wonder what made them decide to go there!!
If you would like to see more Note Card Party pictures
or post some of your own
hop on over to Vee's and check it out.
Thanks once again Vee, for hosting the Note Card Party.

A happy day to all.
happyone : )

A couple of you were wondering what I was looking at and thinking in yesterday's photo.  I was looking at the all the golden rod and down into an overgrown field.  I was thinking how pretty the golden rod looked and what happened to the horses that used to live there.  Also it made me feel like a kid again to stand there on the fence. : )

  1. You captured some great photos! I like the cows on the little hill, surrounded by daisies. And being a horse lover, the first photo stole my heart. :)

  4. These farmyard animals are so handsome and friendly, too. That rooster would look beautiful framed in your kitchen or dining room. He is striking!

  5. Great photos with such vibrant color. The last one is amusing and does make you wonder. Maybe they wanted to see the other side! A nice theme for a set of notecards!

  7. I considered farm photos myself this month as I'm a softie for the surrounding farms and their animals. However, my mind went in a different direction after all. I like all of your note cards and think the colourful rooster is the one I'd choose to have sent to me.
Maybe the cows on the hill were looking for a better view of you, and what you had in your hand?

  8. I like all of these photos of the farm animals you've encountered. The face markings on the cow in the foreground in the last picture makes it look as if the cow is angry that you are taking her picture.

  23. hello Happy One

How lovely all your note cards are.

I especially love the two cows on the little mound - they look beautiful and I love the tree in the background and the daisies in the front - perfect!

The little rooster strutting about the farmyard as though he owns it - lovely!

I haven't been to see you for ages - how is your new house and your walking?
