Back in July I took this picture of yellow fire hydrants that were not in the ground yet.
Well they finally planted them in the ground. Today's picture is one of them.

  1. I would say that fire hydrant is outstanding! Perfect image for Mellow Yellow Monday, have a great one!

  2. Marvelously mellow yellow! I don't think I've ever SEEN a fire hydrant from this perspective. Nifty find ;-)
    Hugs and blessings,

  3. That is unique. Usually fire hydrant is in red color but I think yellow is more visible at night time. Thanks for sharing!

Mine is here My Life’s Journey in Focus,

  4. MYM always shows something interesting. I've never thought about a hydrant that wasn't planted already. Or what it would look like.

  5. Do you think they're like wallflowers or bare-rooted roses - best planted in autumn?

  6. It's nice the fire hydrant got planted. I don't think I've seen a hydrant this shade of yellow before.

  7. Happy Tuesday. Taking a peek at your yellow Post. My Mellow Yellow is posted.

  8. Hi. I found you thru Cher's photoblog.

I have never seen a yellow fire hydrant. That's cool.

    Here's is my photoblog:

    Have a nice day.

  9. That's interesting. I looked at the earlier photo; I didn't realize they are so long! This one protrudes from the ground quite a bit; perhaps to make room for snowfall? Don't know!

  10. Linnea - They just haven't graded around it yet. It is NOT for the snow. We don't usually get that much snow.

Misalayn & Manang Kim - All the fire hydrants around where I live are now orange or yellow. Though I do remember years ago when they were red and silver topped.

  11. Creative view of seeing yellow. Great photo.
