Dry River Bed

While I was in Pennsylvania, my parents and I took a little walk.
We went down this path.
And came to a cave which has a river flowing through it.
As you can see the river bed is dry.
There is a trickle of water on the far right side,
which you can't see in the photo.
There were a couple of other walkers and that is my mom in pink.
A close up of the cave.I'll have to go back when there is water and take a picture.

  1. I wonder where the water comes from? It would be neat to see the cave when there is more water flowing.

  2. That's quite a slab of rock there! Having your mom and the other folks in the picture shows how large the cave really is. Great shot! I would love to see it with water going through there. Guessing it would be quite powerful.

  4. The cave is very interesting. I don't know if I would get very close to it because living in West Milford we have a lot of black bears and I would think that possibly one could be in there since it is dry now.
