Bench Number 27

Here's the next bench on my trek around the lake. The is on a path that leads away from the lake and adds an extra 1/2 mile to the route. For the next few weeks all the benches will be along this path. Then eventually it meets up again with the main path.

  1. Another interesting bench story! The view of the woods is nice.

  2. Looks like a great place to walk. I think maybe I would walk more if I had beautiful scenery and deer.

  3. I envy you to have such a great place to take your daily walks...even if it is hot and sticky in the summertime! Poor Mr. Sherman died rather young...

  4. One of the parks that we have been going to has benches in memory or in honor of folks (even pets!) I love reading the plaques...we saw them along the boardwalk in Ocean City, NJ too!

  5. It's neat that they dedicate the benches.. and I like your idea of putting a post of each bench along the path... it's fun!
